From the President
Well another year has gone by the wayside. What a year it was!!! Many exciting things happened, both happy and sad. However, I am going to focus on the exciting events to come in the 2001 year.
I hope that there is a large turnout for our first “Western Regionals” Doug Litster has been doing all the legwork for this event and it sounds like it’s going to be a great event. I know Doug is excited about it and it would be a super way to get the western T’s together.
Here’s some more info on our 3rd annual T-Bucket Nationals in Hannibal. Our cruise director is planning at least one site seeing cruise every day of the Nationals. We have a special dinner cruise planned on Saturday evening on the Mark Twain Riverboat; the cost of this event is $23.00 per head on a first come basis, until the boat is full. The boat has been reserved just for us. The dinner cruise will consist of a meal and a Jazz band will play during the meal as well as afterwards as we continue to cruise up the Mississippi River. It will begin with boarding at 6PM and we should return to dock around 8-8:15. Then it is off to cruise the strip or to head back to hotel for some rest and relaxation.
You will be happy to hear that Nationals this year will only cost $15.00 to enter. For this price, you will receive a dash plaque and a goody bag with coupons and discount offers for many of the businesses in Hannibal and the surrounding area. T-shirts will be available on the grounds and we have several vendors lined up to attend. We will be giving away some great door prizes as well as some special giveaways and many awards on the final day.
Make sure you register soon with the hotel to reserve your room, so you won’t miss any of the excitement.
We will have registration forms out as soon as we receive the artwork from the artist.
Hey Guy’s! What items would you like to see added to the NTBA store? If so, please let me know. We are looking into stuff for the coming year and want your input.
Again, Thank you for a wonderful 2000 and I am looking forward to a great 2001
Your Friend and Fellow Buckethead,
